Xeno (제노), aka “Daejun Girl” is a k-pop newbie who aspires to offer something new and different to the hackneyed Korean pop scene. Her boyish and charismatic image plus strong voice definitely adds diversity, but I think it’s too early to call her as “the next Younha.” In fact, when I first saw her, Xeno’s “in-your-face-girl-power” vibe reminded me more of Lexy than Younha.
Xeno already has a huge netizen following, enough to call her “the next Younha,” but track records for the next whoever has been mediocre so far. Min Hyo Rin - “the next Lee Hyori” wasn’t all that exceptional and Son Dambi still has lots to do before she can actually claim her “female Rain” title. Do you think that Xeno has the x-factor to become the next Younha?

but does she write her own songs like Younha?…. or is a talented musician? This is the first I’ve heard of xeno but I think the comparison between the two is only superficial. I’ve followed Younha’s career in Japan when she was just doing anime themes, I’m glad shes back in S.Korea where she can have more potential success.
She has potential but is it just me or does she look really tired from that clip? Bad lighting maybe?
Personally, I’ve been a fan of Younha since her Yubikiri days and Xeno doesn’t even seem to relate to Younha at all. Besides the fact that they’re both Korean and can sing in English pretty well.
i don’t think she’s that pretty but i mean if she’s gonna go with the “bad girl” image why not have more powerful vocals. her voice doesn’t match the image she’s trying to protray.

I’m not too impressed by the clip, but I definitely do not see much charisma there- so I don’t think she has the “X” factor, yet maybe.
I admire her for debuting with a differing style, rather than the sexy kpop diva look though..

i absolutely love younha- and i may be a bit “biased” but i believe that xeno can’t compare to younha.
xeno has a pretty good voice- but younha has this very clear crisp sound which i adore.
I think xeno’s picture is a bit… agressive.. but who knows.
wow.. that clip is awkward.. almost freaky.. i’ve never seen anything sound like that and sing like that… mm… she stands so still for singing with “feeling” or beat… it’s really weird. if they shoot her video well, they might be able to do a “good and cool awkward” but right now it’s just awkward. and she looks like she’s 12.. not enough to have a bad-girl image, more like “i haven’t hit puberty and that’s why i still look unwomanly” but still, if they do a good video and give her good songs, she’s got potential…
I like her voice but it really doesn’t match her look. She looks punk-rocker but has a like Jo-Jo pop/r&b sound.

I really don’t think so….she’s cute, but compared to Younha, she has a long way to be the “2nd Younha.” Younha’s range is really impressive and awesome, I love almost everyone of her songs. Xenon is good, not great, but good; her songs are okay.
So, to a degree, she does have potential, but like I said, a LONG way from getting “up there” with Younha.
I’m pretty sure, there won’t be another “Younha.” There can only be one Younha, right. I mean, who would want two Kelly Clarksons or two BoA or such? Get my drift?
