Korea’s best celebs impress JapanPosted: August 17, 2007
Korea’s top celebs all hopped on the plane and headed for the Tokyo dome to meet with their Japanese fans this week. The media referred to the 2007 Face in Japan as a “premium” event, but I think it’s just a gigantic “show and tell” without any focus other than to give 15,000 or so Japanese fans some face time with some of their favorite stars. Singers conquered the stage with their songs while actors tried to impress with random gigs.
Highkick gang. I had no idea that Highkick was popular in Japan. Check out Shinji‘s expression when Suh Min Jung tries to dance. The singer turned actor is not impressed! Ha.
Minwoo – no explanation needed for this sexy yet shorty dancing star.
Lee Dong-gun sang and posed for ladies equipped with digital cameras. Did you know that it has been 7 years since his last performance?
Ha Jiwon in gorgeous white dress shows us how to say “I love you” in sign-language. I guess she didn’t have time to practice anything new…?
Eom Tae-Woong surprised us by singing and showing us some wacky expressions. Lovable star, for sure.
Kangta looks super tall in his white get-up.
DBSK - long time no see boys. They sure flied high at the event – literally!
Tei‘s pants look uncomfortably tight on him.
Jo Han Sun was the bartender for the night, making cocktails for the ladies. He also showed us that he can bounce a soccer ball on his head.
Kim Jae Won aged a lot, but he won the hearts of many new fans with his heavenly voice.
Shin Hyun Joon doing the cutesy dance. I like his gansta image much more, make that a thousand times more.
Lee Ji-hoon was the main model for the fashion show prior to the main event. He loves white, just like his best friend Kangta. But wearing parts of the Korean flag at a Japanese event was a no-no.
