More floaty dresses! Park Junga, Park Shin-hye, Park Shi-yeon, Song Yuri, Song Yeh-jin, Yoo In-young and Yoon Eun-hye all chose gorgeous dresses this time around at the 44th Paeksang Arts Awards. And can’t forget the men, they don’t look half-bad either.
The 2008 Paeksang Arts Awards will air on SBS.

Hyun Young. Love the rose colored taffeta dress and especially the feather clutch.
Park Jung-a looks simply gorgeous! Love the blue color on her!
Park Shinhye. For some reason, the folds and details on the pale gray dress reminds me of a thatched roof of a hut in some tropical island. Too bad the color is so dull.
Park Shi-yeon keeps her chest in check with this empire waist chiffon dress. She reminds me a teensy weensy bit of J. Lo when she wore that gorgeous coral chiffon dress in the movie, Maid in Manhattan. But of course, that dress was simply divine.
Sung Yuri & Kang Jihwan. The Hong Gil-dong co-stars play matchy-matchy in white. Ms. Song’s dress adds some bright citrus to the red carpet. But another too-long dress that needs to be hemmed.
Son Yeh-jin. The color of the dress is fabulous but she looks so washed out. What happened to her makeup? Who did her eyebrows? They are so unruly.
Yoo In-young (with Kim Ji-suk). The wine satin halter dress is perfect for her thin n’ tall frame. But she should have been more daring with her choice of dress… such as the Lanvin dress below.
Yun Eun-hye. Ah yes. I lust for everything in the Lanvin Spring 2008 collection but I know that there are some things that no matter how much I love will not work for me. If Ms. Yun should have have been so wise, she would have avoided this dress. First, her image is more cutesy, not so glamazon. And this dress needs a body to match as well as the attitude to pull it off. And frankly, she is lacking - that’s why she has her hand firmly grasped on the dress to emphasize her leg.
And now for the men… from Part I, bowties are definitely in and so are all-white suits. Finally, the old-school classics are coming back.
Ha Jungwoo & Kim Yoonsuk from the hit movie, The Chaser. Mr. Ha looks hot!
Jang Geunsuk looks tight in this all white suit.
Kim Hongsu’s cuffed pants are too short and his whole outfit is mismatched white. Ugh. Just because it’s white doesn’t mean that everything matches.
Kwon Sangwoo looks old-school handsome in the bow-tie.
Lee Dongwook looks like a lounge singer with the smudges on this face.
Lee Phillip creeps me out. He is a Bae Yong-joon wanna-be.
Lim Changjung looks happy to be there.
Park Yongha looks fine in the white bow-tie and nicely cut black suit.
Song Kangho. Never realized that Mr. Song was so trim when his face is so chubby.
Yu Gon. An avant-garde gray jacket that I will never appreciate.

i LOVE yoon eun hye, but did she gain weight? she was sooo skinny in coffee prince. lol. anyways, i liked the idea of her dress, but it should’ve been a size or two smaller, even though it’s supposed to flow & all that. park jung ah looked amazing, though!
i still think yoon eun hye looked absolutely gorgeous in that lanvin dress. although she may not have been tall enough for it, the dress still flattered her figure.

I love Park Shi Yeon’s dress. Its simple yet elegant. It would of been better if she had on a necklace or something. I definitely like the choice of colors. The purple, blue, red is definitely more interesting than usual white & black. Can’t believe you missed Kang Ji Hwan. He looks amazingly hot in his all white suit.
I love Son Yeh Jin but her outfit is still pretty on her. I still prefered last year compared to this year; nonetheless, she’s stunning!
Eun Hye looks pretty, but the shoes seemed odd for her to walk in or maybe its the lenth of the dress. Congrats to her winning best lead actress! In addition, Yuru Sung looks fresh and gorgeous (unlike her costar and guest date) at this event. Hyun Young and Han Ye Seul looks great, too! I wished she brought along best pal, Han Ji Hye…
As for the guys, I’ll comment on Kwon Sang Woo’s outfit alone….I liked it, but not lovin the hair. He looks OLD but that smile is adorable!

My no. 1 - Sung Yuri
very summer-ry, simple yet elegant, white is so clean and pure, the dress color and design suit Yuri skin color, hair and figure.
My no. 2 - Hyun Young
very dolly, looks like barbie doll.
My no. 3 - Kim Jung Eun
looks like a goddess, the accessories and shoe suit the gown, so overall, very well match.
My no. 4 - Park Shi Yeon
very simple and classic, the hair, bag, shoe and make up are all well match.
My no. 5 - Han Yeh Seul
the color and design of the dress is very sweet, but too bad that the make up is not that fantastic, she looks very pale.
So of all SUNG YURI is the best, with awesome make up, hair, dress, shoe and bag. And of course her best accessories that night is with Kang Ji Hwan, they look so …. good together, just like a newly wed couple.

Favorites dresses of the night were worn by Sung Yuri, Park Jung Ah, Park Shi Yeon, and Hyung Young! They all looked so beautiful and Sung Yuri had the best accessory…Kang Ji Hwan! I’d also have the say she had the best look too! It was simple and beautiful!

While I enjoy Park Yong-ha’s character in the show On Air, his facial stubble is not working with his formal wear (assuming that his role requires him to have the facial hair for awhile). Also, some hair styling product to lift his bangs out of his eyes would have helped.
