Girl groups are all known for having pretty girls, but some girls are best known for their charming eye-smile. POPSEOUL wants to know who do you think works their eye-smile the best?

These five pop females are known for possessing a particular eye-smile that is regarded as the “perfect” eye-smile by most Korean fans. When they smile, their eyes turn into perfect little moon crescents, leaving their whole face a bright happy smile that seems like pure happiness. Frankly speaking, having a good eye-smile takes phoniness out of smiles. Everyone loves a genuine smile.

Lee Hyori is known for being the queen of this eye-smile that won her a lot of fans during her Fin.K.L days. It accents the “cute” side of her cute-sexy image. Wondergirls Sun-ye is defined by her innocent face, accented by the eye-smile. Tiffany stands out from the crowd of the 9-member Girls Generation because of her perfect eye-smile charm. KARA‘s Han Seung-yeon sweet, cute image is brought together by a child-like smile and a innocent eye-smile, which made her a natural replacement for Tiffany as a host on Mnet’s “Boys and Girls Gayo Top 100.” Finally, though Ga-in of Brown Eyed Girls is often commented as having sharp, small eyes, she works the eye-smile quite naturally. Many fans believe her eye-smile is her hidden charm.

What makes the perfect eye-smile? Plastic surgeons suggest that the puffy eye-fat under the eyes (that puffiness you get when you’re tired) is a key component to making the lunar crescent shape.  In Korea, it’s affectionately known as “aeegyo-skin,” giving the feeling of a baby’s smile. Who doesn’t love a baby’s smile? This explains the popularity of under-eye filling surgery.
