What would you do if you knew your lover had only 30 minutes to live?
Actor and model Lee Min-ki is on a mission to save his girlfriend in the Korean blockbuster hit movie “Quick”. Actress Kang Ye-won potrays his ticking time bomb girlfriend….literally. They are in a race to save her life in the movie that has mesmerized Asia and on its way to take North America by storm.

‘Quick’ redefines the Korean blockbuster and blasts away the summer heat!
The speed maniac and motorcycle messenger Gi-su receives a mysterious call when he is about to take Arom, his ex-girlfriend and a member of a girl band, to a live broadcast. Suddenly, a mysterious voice on the phone warns that there is a bomb wire to Arom’s helmet and that a package must be delivered to a designated address within 30 minutes. ”Remove the helmet or fail to complete the mission and the bomb goes off.”
…As the clock is ticking, the two begin a race against time to stay alive.

Since i watched Fast Five this movie looks a bit low budget. But wo knows.
Fast Five was produced in America….American movie budgets are usually super high and their movies are shown world wide. You can’t compare it to Korean b/c of language barrier few countries get to see Korean movies.
Yes thats true. But i thought it would give me a empty feeling about this korean movie after i watched Fast Five.
i know wut u mean. i come out the theater posting how empty i felt which sets off my princess syndrome. i dont like that at all, but i’ll still watch.

HOW MANY SELF PROCLAIMED “HIT” KOREAN MOVIES ACTUALLY MAKE IT BIG IN THE US? ALL THIS BIG TALK ABOUT GREAT THIS, BLOCKBUSTER THIS. NONE HAVE HAD ANY SUCCESS. THEY RELEASE IN DENSE KOREAN POPULATED AREAS FOR A COUPLE DAYS AND RETURN TO KOREA AS FAILURES.

I would love to see this movie i love Lee Min Ki’s movies and dramas ,however they never bring Asian movies to the Massachusetts or New Hampshire Area .There are many people in this area that would come see this movie.We have several Major speedways here and i am sure many of those would watch it.How come they do not even go to Boston.
