Orange Caramel turns sour

Citrus and caramel doesn’t mix well anyway.
After sexy diva Lee Hyori, it’s now Orange Caramel‘s turn to be accused of plagiarism. The overly sweet trio made of After School‘s Nana, Raina and Lizzy comes under fire for the uncanny resemblance between their first single “Magic Girl” and a Japanese pop song, “Hare no Platinum Dori”, by Saki Nakajima & Mai Hagiwara. And while netizens were at it, they also played “spot the difference” between the MV for “Magic Girl” and the French CM for “Miss Dior Cherie”, claiming that not only the scene where Nana is lifted in the air by the balloons she’s holding came from the TV ad but the whole concept, cakes and candies are plagiarized. Oh My Gosh, pastel colors and candies/cupcakes/sweets/lollipops/whatever sugary treats you may fancy are so unusual in a Kpop MV that they must have taken them from elsewhere ! Quick, someone report Super Junior to the police, I swear that the lollipops they have in “Happiness” are the same as some kids’ I saw down the street, they must have stolen plagiarized them !More seriously, although “Magic Girl” and the Jpop song sound really similar, the Dior ad thing is quite far-fetched.
Now dear PopSeoulers, make your own mind about the whole issue :

Well, he is sexy at any time of the day…
With the spotlight being on Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun for their current Japanese Dome tour and their various solo activities, we hardly ever hear about Changmin and Yunho these days. But don’t worry, they are doing well. To prove it, I bring you the latest photoshoot of Yunho for Marie Claire Korea which shows our dear leader still being his gorgeous self despite the ongoing drama… and sometimes wrong outfits. Not crazy about shorts that look like a divided skirt but the rest of the photos more than make up for it !
Enjoy the night-time sexiness below :
SS501 should be banned…

… from using scissors, craft knives and the like. Forever.
We are so used to see our favorite idols being overly charismatic and professional that we often forget how young they really are. Everyone who saw behind-the-scene videos of SS501 members can tell you they’re truly a bunch of kids at heart. And you know how kids shouldn’t be left alone around scissors, knives or other cutting devices. Because, even if they somehow manage to avoid hurting themselves (or others), they will surely use these things to express their artistic nature on a/ your precious velvet drapes, b/ the dog or their little sister’s hair, c/ their own clothes. And judging by their latest performances, our lovely boys chose the c/ option on their expensive designer shirts and jackets. With “interesting” results to say the least.
Being in a fine mood, I won’t send the fashion police after them but have them reflect on their behavior (see-through patches on men’s clothes is bad, people !) while doing community service, which may or may not include repair work in my house wearing close-fitting T-shirts.
SuJu members are a bunch of chicken…

… sellers, actually. But they do have a crisp look, a soft inside and they truly look yummy !
Along with the hot and sunny weather, chicken commercials are popping up everywhere these days, giving everyone a “let’s go on a picnic” type of feeling. This time it’s Super Junior‘s turn to show you where the best chicken’s at. In a hilarious Kyochon CF, the boys, split in 2 groups, battle it out to see which kind of nuggets (honey or chili and onion) are the most delicious. And they even sing their own little jingle for the occasion.
Tasty chicken bites and gorgeous men, now all I need is a big glass of iced tea to make my happiness complete !
