Daniel Henney arouses fans in Myongdong

Everytime I look at Daniel Henney, I think, “dang, he’s beautiful!” Because of him, I watched every minute of the Uhm Jung-hwa vehicle, Seducing Mr. Robin. The movie was full of cliches, but Mr. Henney’s looks alone carried it through.
And now, his gorgeousness has another movie coming out in the beginning of September, My father about an American adoptee who returns to Korea to find his Korean roots.
Mr. Henney was in Myongdong on the 18th to promote his movie to passerbyers. Actually, the people formed a mob around the gorgeous one as he threw out movie posters into the screaming crowd. He was joined by half-Japanese “star” Eva Popiel (25) who rose to fame on the hit KBS TV 2 talk show, Mi-nyo-dul-ue-suda (미녀들의 수다) featuring foreigners who speak Korean well.

Okay people! For those complaining about his english in the movie: His character is an ADOPTEE! Nothing makes me more mad than stupid korean dramas that use adoption as merely a vehicle for some bizarre lost brother plot. They always have some korean speaking horrible english. Perhaps this will be the first media presentation of a real character, which MUST include speaking in english. You must have that to examine the language barrier.

I like the trailer. Looks interesting and Henny’s acting, at least when he speaks English, looks good. But, I don’t get it…he’s suppose to be just an adoptee (full korean, right)?? Then how do they explain that he looks mixed?? Is his mom in the movie suppose to be white?
does this guy know how to speak korean?
i always thought his acting was mediocre but it seems that this movie will make up for it.

they are both half (eva and daniel). they should get married. it would be funny if one kid pops out white, and the other asian… puhahaha! actually, daniel, you can’t have her. i’m going to marry eva. she’s soooo sweet and down to earth… with normal insecurities. And because she’s on minyuh deuleh suda, we get to know so much more about the real her than we do about any celeb.

from just watching that clip, his acting is pretty good to me.

Not everyone was good when they first stared in movies. I think his acting is alright but could be better. Seducing Mr. Perfect and this movie are his only two. He may wow us later on. Stop putting him down already for crying out loud. People only stare at him for his looks and that’s just wrong, even though he’s ridiculously hot.

Clearly, you’re delusional. Tony Leung, Chow yun-fat, and maggie Cheung are few of the best actors in the world and they’re chinese.

You idiot, acting isn’t very easy you know. Henney is still young and has time to work on it. It’s really pathetic how people constantly put him down here without realizing that he’s trying his best. Personally I think his acting here is a LOT better than in Seducing Mr. Perfect.

Yeah, he’s hot and I think he knows it. I liked him in Seducing Mr. Perfect. He kind of reminded me of Richard Gear with his voice and execution of his lines. Although everytime I think of Daniel, I think if Dennis. Maybe because they’re both half white, but allllll HOT!
