Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo reunite after 7 years

People just can’t get enough of “Winter Sonata”.
On September 28th, Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo met up for the first time in seven years for a press conference in Japan to endorse “Winter Sonata” the animated series.
Bae Yong0joon and Choi Ji-woo reprises their roles as the two high school sweethearts separated by circumstance, Kang Joon-sang and Jung Yu-jin respectively. Despite the fact that this is a Japanese anime production, the two actors speak in their native Korean, keeping to the original flavor of the drama series.
I wasn’t a big fan of the drama itself with the overly sappy acting, but looking at the previews, the anime looks semi-promising. The animation is beautifully done with the direction paying a lot of attention to aesthetics.
“Winter Sonata” the animated series will begin broadcasting on October 17th in Japan.

omg that looks promising. the animation is not that bad… i wanna watch.. lol i guess winter sonata is really that famous coz people dont get sick of it.. lol
Judging from the previews, the animation itself seems lackluster: even awkward and amateurish at times. The real promise is probably going to be the nostalgic factor for most people.

Oh come on! This drama wasn’t even all that! Now, if you wanted to make an anime of Full House or Autumn Tale, I’d watch that! I think the Japanese like this drama so much because perhaps BYJ already looks like an anime character >_<
While the prelude and trailer seem to show bits from the drama series’ storylines, I understand that the animation series is supposed to explain what happened to the two main characters after they each leave Seoul-he to New York, she to Paris for her studies. Remember, about three years passed before they both returned to Seoul at the end of the series.
BTW, it looks as though BYJ did a Boa move and got his hair cut shorter!
Sorry but I think the animation looks really cheesy and unsophisticated. It is very stilted looking.
The anime looks like something from the late 80s/early 90s anime. I wonder how many “quiet” moments this will have with a static background. Methinks the translation will be a bit fuzzy. Wondering, wondering, wondering if ahjummas will go out in a tizzy to watch this?

whether you liked winter sonata or not, you can not deny it’s one of the most pivotal series in helping put korean dramas on the map OUTSIDE of korea. korean melodrama at its peak you could say.

Iam looking forward to this anime drama of my 2 favorit Idol BYJ and CJW, I like to watch the two of them they are a great love team and for real, coz. they suite to each other, A handsome and a good looking man and a very fiminine and beautiful lady, well they much to each other. Both of them are successful in their own. Hope that there are more Drama series which the two of them were imvolve. Keep it up Guys!!!

When i feel lonely, i always watch Winter sonata. I luv BYJ. i like his smile, and his expression i love all the way he look. I can’t expressed my thought. I wish i could see him in person. I’m from Mizoram, India. It is located in N.E. India. How could this happen !!!! Biane for my bad english.
