Dok2 and The Quiett Release “Slumdawg Illionaire” for Free

Two prominent Korean underground hip hop artists, Dok2 (도끼) and The Quiett joined forces and, in true underground fashion, offer up “Slumdawg Illionaire” for free.

Considered genius by many of their Movement fellows, Dok2 and The Quiett joined up to create Illionaire Records, leaving many underground fans anxious and excited of things to come.

Meeting expectations, Illionaire Records’ theme song “Slumdawg Illionaire” brings high level lyrics matched with fine production that’s bound to make you want to nod to the beat.

The download link was posted via their official Twitter account (@1LLIONAIRE):, along with a link to the full lyrics of the song via The Quiett’s Twitter (@TheQuiett).

Releasing “We Here” earlier this week, which was also received well by the Korean hip hop community, next up for Illionaire Records would be the release of the collaboration album of Dok2 and Double K, “Flow2Flow.”

The Underground has made this beautiful love baby that’s bringing together some of today’s best. Do you think Illionaire Records can become the next legend in Korean hip hop?

  3. Graham says:

Nothing in this world is free. That would go against the first law of thermodynamics in any closed system, so something must be paid in order to get this music. You probably end up just paying in your time, having listened to a ‘crock o’ shite’

  4. OOOOKaaayy! says:

    Im curious.

  5. Graham says:

Can anyone give me one example of any type of great music which was given away free (other than really old classical stuff)?

If you are unable, then you can pretty much know that this is going to be very very sh!te.

    • Johnson says:

Slumdog Millionaire was a British movie you ignorant philistine. Besides, the Spicegirls were British and their asian tribute act 2ne1 copy them too.. so it’s not like it’s anything new.

  9. Julie Mason says:

@ Graham In U.K they are giving away free music cds attached to the newspaper and magazines. Nowadays musicians are making money through concerts, appearing on tv and so on. Things have really changed.
