With many rumors circulating about Lee Seung-ki no longer appearing in the popular KBS variety show, “1 Night 2 Days“, Lee Seung-ki officially confirmed that he will remain a part of the cast until the time comes for him to serve in the Korean military.
Na Young-suk PD of “1 Night 2 Days” stated, “Personally, I think that members can quit the show to better their careers. The same thing applies to Lee Seung-ki. We talked often about when he would quit the show. However, with Kim C and MC Mong leaving the show, we asked Lee Seung-ki to wait a little bit. Negotiations were going well with his management company when the news reports of him leaving the cast were published. Realistically, we just wanted Lee Seung-ki to wait a little bit until a new member joined the cast, but Lee Seung-ki decided to stay not just a couple more weeks but until the time comes for him to serve mandatory military service. I was so so thankful. Lee Seung-ki has a great love and adoration for the show. He loves being with the other members of the cast. He said that even if it’s hard, he will change his schedule around to keep starring in the show. He’s the type of person you can’t help but like.”
It’s hard to imagine “1 Night 2 Days” without Lee Seung-ki, but people also must realize that he is a singer, before a variety entertainment star. With the hectic filming schedules for “1 Night 2 Days” and “Strong Heart“, Lee Seung-ki has been having trouble finding time to work on a new album.
Fans will have to prepare themselves for Lee Seung-ki leaving the show because he eventually will.

Btw, how old is Lee Seung Ki?
He was born in 1987.

he’s loveable in so many ways I’m glad he’s staying until he has miltiary duty
I agree~
Even though i haven’t met him in person, he seems really nice.
Then how do you know he’s nice?
by watching the shows that he’s on
I see you believe what you see on the tv. How american of you.
wtf……
You judge people by the role they play on the tv. That’s very american, like thinking americans can save the world from aliens just because they see it on tv, when they cannot even plug an oily hole in the sea-floor and have to get the british in to stop it.
wat…?
haha “until he has to serve mandatory military service”
for celeb that involves showing up for a desk job at a building in the city strategically located minutes from his house.
Weekly time commitment of service? few days a week. couple hours a day.
Uniform? Don’t need to wear one, but the military will still supply one so he can take pictures pretending to protect the country.
Look, he’s going to be really sad when he’s on military service sat at that desk from nine until four every day having to just relax and shuffle some papers, with all the other K-pop idols.
It was reported that PD Nah is the 6th member. Is it true? Would be happy if it were ‘cos he’s a pretty funny guy too!
