KARA’s Seung Yeon, Nicole and Ji Young Declare War On DSP Entertainment -Again-

Last month KARA members Seung Yeon, Nicole, and Ji Young were involved in serious battle with their label DSP Entertainment.

The event took some ugly turns on many issues, from poor management to payment issues dating back since early 2010.

Eventually everything worked out well, and KARA lived happily ever ….or so we thought.

On February 14th, DSP Entertainment was once again slammed with a lawsuit by the three members, this time over their payment.

The 3 members claim that for 6 months, they were paid $140 despite bringing in more than $400,000 in revenue in album sales.

DSP Entertainment argues that besides their album sales, KARA was paid $200,000 through other activities such as CFs.

Despite their bickering, KARA will continue filming their Japanese show URAKARAand as you can see below, have become the no.1 targets for the press at the airport.

i thought cfs are another problems. unrelated to basic obligation the company has to pay them regarding album sales and performances contracts….

140 compared to 400.000 is way too wrong.

if this news is true (instead of just a stunt publicity for the upcoming drama), then i hope it’ll end well. for both.

It’s funny how they still keep on working despite not being paid. That’s one hell of a statement. Once a slave, always a slave.

  4. Kasey says:

It is kind of getting ridiculous, really, it feels like old news and for publicity. Come on. Diva act is becoming old school. It makes you hate them, not love them, but then I have never been fans of the group anyway… I say don’t over dramatize things.. that’s my two cents in it all..

Divide $400,000 between Kara and all the ppl who work to make them relevant in kpop and $140 seems quite generous!

    This is kind of sad.

  7. Cyncus says:

So why is it only these three who are suing? What about Goo Hara and Gyuri? are they content being a slave or are they being paid differently???? Also many of you are right. Why the hell would you co TI us to work???

    • SuperJuniorLover6666666666 says:

Gyuri and Goo Hara aren’t going against DSP entertainment.
They want to stay. Because Gyuri’s mom told her to and idk about Goo Hara…

WHEN IT COMES TO MONEY AND PAYMENTS, JUST SHOW RECEIPTS OF PAYMENTS AND AMOUNTS RECEIVED. THAT’S ALL AND CASE CLOSED! NO NEED TO TALK BACK AND FORTH. EVIDENCE, THAT’S ALL YOU NEED PEOPLE!

Good going!!! Stand up for your rights!!!! But, do be prepared for all the anti-fans who will start ganging up on you!! And i’m sure that group will be joined by your fellow entertainers who don’t have the guts to do what you did but feel the same way as you do. I think that it’s very hypocritical of your fellow performers in the industry to throw stones at you instead of supporting you or just plain shutting up!! e.g. read all of the negative comments from entertainers who bashed JYJ ….esp. when they’re in the same company as they were. And, I’ll bet, if they’ve signed new contracts since the JYJ law suit and their contracts have been changed for the better because of it…..it’s the ultimate in hyprocracy!!!! Call them two-faced or whatever….

    Stay strong!!!
