Kim Yong-jun Gets 2 Years Probation

The SG Wannabe singer was sentence to 2 years probation and 80 hours of community service as punishment for fleeing the scene of an accident.

On January 8, singer Kim Yong-jun crossed the center line and caused an accident with an SUV while driving his Mercedes-Benz. Three people, including the driver of the SUV were injured and hospitalized for two weeks.

The singer fled the scene of the crime and is charged with a hit-and-run.

On May 13th, the Seoul Central Court has sentenced Kim Yong-jun to 2 years probation and 80 hours of community service. It’s likely this is more of a warning than going on his record.

It’s also possible that, according to Korean law, the singer may be responsible for hospital expenses and loss of income during the time of hospitalization.
