ASIANS IN AMERICAN MEDIA?? HAHAH THIS ART OF SHITMENT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR HOW LONG? WHAT HAS IT ACHIEVED? YOUTUBE AND A WEBSITE? HAHAHAHAHA ASIANS ARE NOT GONNA MAKE IN THE U.S. ANYTIME SOON.
BEFORE YOU PEOPLE RESPOND WITH SOMEONE LIKE JOHN CHO.. COME ON NOW, THAT’S JUST ONE ASIAN GUY IN THE PAST 10 YEARS.

  8. Hazel says:

^ That just goes to show that the American media is especially packed with racial and prejudice undertones. & You think that’s okay? This is why Asian Americans like those who founded this “Asian American Movement” spend so much time trying to further such causes. They want to try and level the playing field, even if it’s just for a little bit. Not having Asians in American media doesn’t just impact artists who are trying to make it, but it also impacts Asians living in America as well. Yes, Asian Americans have been trying to do similar things for years, and some would say there’s not much progress, but at least they’re trying.

    • Jasmine Chaney says:

You are so right. American media is very prejudice. One might think that blacks are in a better situation than Asians and I guess in a way they are but many times the movies and tv shows that black people are shown in are portraying blacks in a negative light. Such is the case for other minorities as well like Asian and Hispanic; whenever they are shown they are most oftenly being mocked by Caucasions for their accents and other differences. It is quite shameful since the United States(I am a United States citizen) portrays itself as a country where everyone is equal and is treated equally

      • Ki Ran Pa says:

What more can expect from a country where its native’s( Native Americans) are the smallest minorities. I have lived in America my whole life and I have never seen in person a Native American. Let only on TV, most of time it’s a dressed up Mexican. Sad very Sad.
