[MV] After School Red swears “In the Night Sky”

And does it in all the right ways.

After their comeback stages as After School divided in two, the music video for AS Red‘s “In the Night Sky” has finally been released. I initially felt pretty lukewarm about this song, but after the MV, I can’t help but change my mind. The music video with its sepia tones and the simple low-key idea of a bunch of young people having a bonfire in the middle of a desert wasteland is picture perfect, despite the fact that spraying gasoline on everyone near a bonfire is very impractical and unsafe, don’t try that at home kids.

Ka-hi, Jung-ah, Nana, and especially UEE look fabulous against the setting sun and desert sand in their edgy boho chic fashion.

Sometimes the right execution of style is all you need to turn it around.

ya they definately have a stronger song than AS Blue
and I like this song better. but surely will support both groups because after all they’re all members of After School🙂

The beginning of the MV gives you that cross country feel. Interesting…. I wonder how long this sub-unit will stay together? Will the After School mix it up a bit?

Awesome!!! *teen moment* ugh! thats my word! lolz. love Uee 4eva!!!❤❤❤

  4. dan says:

THROW SOME PEOPLE TOGETHER IN THE DESERT WITH NO THEME AND CALL IT A MUSIC VIDEO. THIS NEEDED TO BE FILMED IN THE U.S. WHY? THE SONG SUCKED SO BAD THAT THEY NEEDED TO ADD IN SOMETHING AMERICAN TO ATTRACT LISTENERS. SAD THAT KOREANS WILL WORSHIP ANYTHING AMERICAN RELATED.

Only problem with that video, too many Korean guys in it.

they are so pretty, but so are all the other groups. i liked this video though because it seemed a lot fresher and easier to take in rather than always watching a video with men in bedazzled outfits and girls with brightly colored costumes and outrageous makeup and hair. i liked the simplicity of the setting over a strobed out stage and background that causes epileptic break downs….it’s a pass for me!!!
